AGM Statement

Frontier IP, which specialises in the commercialisation of university intellectual property, held its Annual General Meeting today. All the resolutions were duly passed and Chairman, Neil Crabb, provided the following update on trading.

“Frontier continues to make good progress in the strategy set out at the time of the reverse in May 2009. Following the establishment of dedicated venture funds for our university partners, Robert Gordon University and the University of Dundee, in July and September respectively, we have already closed our first fundraising on behalf of a portfolio client.

Frontier looks well-placed to build on its university relationships and we also believe that there are opportunities to partner with new universities as institutions seek to maximise the value of their intellectual property. The Board believes that prospects to develop the business further are very encouraging.”
